Lyngby Kendo Club,
Denmark

Lyngby Kendo Club, established in 2003, changed the budo system in 2008 from shin-budo (developed after the Meiji Restoration, 1868) to ko-budo (developed prior to 1868).

Further more the name of the group was changed to Gakuchoukan in 2008 and today our localization is in Holte, Denmark.

We are practising Kenjutsu/Kendo from the Tokugawa period (1603-1868) and are member of Danish Kendo Society which organizes and preserves the classical Japanese swordsmanship that existed prior to the modern era of Japan (1868).
